The chamber choir I Vocalisti makes its debut recording for Rondeau Production here, offering a varied and rich selection of Choral Music of the 20th and 21st Centuries. The title Domine Deus promises both musical doxology and sound for meditation. There is no stronger language than music to confess deep faith.
The founder and director of Vocalisti is Hans-Joachim Lustig, who lives in Lübeck as a freelance choral conductor after a study at the school of music. In 1994 and 1995, he was a fellow of the German music council. He directs national and international choir and choir direction seminars, and he is conductor of the Uetersen boys choir. With their voices, he won a first-place Federal Award at the 2002 German Choir Competition.
